The cloud storage function is a video storage function developed based on technologies such as moving object detection. Cloud storage video is divided into two types: “Motion Video” and “24 HoursVideo”.

Motion Video: it means that when there is an object moving in front of the camera, the camera alarm is triggered, and the camera will record the video. and encrypt and upload it to the cloud security center;

24-hour Video: lt means that the camera will automatically record when it is online and the network is in good condition. it will be detected 24 hours a day and uploaded to the cloud space encrypted.

The cloud recording function is a paid service to the camera. You need to purchase it before using it, and the cloud recording function will be automatically turned on after the purchase.

‘7 Days” is the recording storage time;
‘3 Months” or”Monthly Auto-renew” is the duration of use of the plan;
‘Motion Video” is the recording type of the plan

3. How to buy cloud storage

(1)Click the “Cloud Storage” button in the device list-enter “Cloud as a Service” and select the cloud storage package – click “Buy Now” to turn the device cloud storage function after the payment is completed.

(2)Click “Cloud Storage”- enter “Cloud as a Service”- select the device that needs to purchase cloud storage select the cloud storage package and click “Buy Now”- the cloud storage function of the device can be turned on immediately after the payment is completed.

Tips:

(1)Cloud storage service is a virtual product that does not support refund after a successful purchase

(2)Only cameras/channels which are working can have cloud storage purchased;

(3)Since cloud service is purchased on the APP account, once the camera is deleted from the APP account, the cloud service will be terminated automatically and can not be resumed;

4. The effective duration of cloud storage function

The Cloud storage is effective from the date of purchase, that is, the validity period of the purchase is: “on the day of purchase” to “the same time one month later / one year later”

For example: User A on November 11, 2020, If a 7-day/month cloud storage package is purchased for the camera, the cloud storage
function is valid for 30 days. The validity period is from November 11, 2020, to December 11.2020.

5. The mechanism of cloud video storage


The storage mechanism of cloud video corresponds to the package, and it supports the storage of cloud video for the last 7 days/30 days. Expiredcloud recordings will be deleted day by day, and the last 7 days/30 days of recordings have been kept and stored.

7 days/month cloud storage package:
For example, if the camera purchased a 7-day/month cloud storage package on November 112020, and turned on cloud recording, it will start to store cloud recordings from November 11 to November 17, and on November 18, cloud recording 11th will be deleted, and so on.

6. Can the cloud recording validity period resuspended?

The cloud recording timekeeping will not be paused. When the device is deleted, the cloud recording will continue to be used for timekeeping

7. Can cloud recording be migrated?

When the device purchases cloud recording and is deleted, the cloud storage will be bound to the purchased account. When there is a device that matches the use of the cloud storage under the account, the cloud storage can be migrated to the device for use.

8. Can the cloud service be used with two devices?

A cloud storage service can only be bound to one device and cannot be used by two devices at the same time.

9. What should l do if the cloud storage is not available after purchasing a plan?

Confirm whether the cloud video recording switch is turned on:
Open device settings–>Storage settings–Cloud service management–>Cloud video switch

Confirm whether smart detection is enabled

(1)On the device settings page, click Smart Detection Alert:

10. Cloud storage video network broadband description

Cloud storage video takes up internet bandwidth during saving:

When the camera starts cloud storage video, it needs to continue to occupy the upload and bandwidth of the network. In order to ensure the successful upload of the video, it is required to be equipped with a single camera, and the network upload bandwidth is stable and greater than 1M.

PS: Under normal circumstances, when the home network is above 10M, the signal is good, and there are no other networked devices using the upload the normal operation of the camera upload and recording function can be basically guaranteed

11. How to set the Cloud video switch

After purchasing the cloud storage package, the cloud recording function will be turned on at the same time. You can enter “Cloud service management”, and click “Cloud video switch” in”Cloud service management” to control whether the cloud recording function is turned on.

12. Other issues

The “Motion Video” function requires you to keep the camera hardware device in a normal networking state before it can be operated and used.
