Updated firmware on dvr and now works perfectly. Original post: Very glitchy. App won’t open most of the time, have to minimize it so I can refresh it for it to work. All cameras won’t load unless I make each camera full screen, then I have to change each to hd one at a time…
Update August 2022: Awesome ,I am still using the same 4 cameras and base and app. Since 2016 .June 2017 Still awesome , requires resetting after updates . The app and unit this may help some complaints. Feb 2017 : Fantastic App Still This app is awesome as it gives me all 4 cameras ( more if needed) or I can zoom into just 1 camera at high def and really see a good picture even with 720p . Love the app but would love it even more if the app would give you an option to keep each camera on HD instead of always opening up in SD. I have to change each camera to HD if I want the clearest pictures. If you could make a way so that the app opens on your selection whether it be SD or HD. This would save me from clicking on every camera changing each to HD. Thanks
Works well for me. My only con is that it should be able to work when connected in the same network through wireless router even without data subscription. Again, some connected mic have this tap sound on the background. Overall, works well.
I’ve used this app for over 5 years. Overall this app has been great and has given my family peace of mind and comfort of knowing we can check in on our home whenever, wherever. Very user friendly also. We’ve actually upgraded our cams after using this app and discovering the different controls we were missing out on with our older standard cameras.
I love the smart SF security system I would recommend it who needs to monitor their property, easy to setup,easy to use. I have had a few glitches, but I get that with everything. And I’m not very electronicly smart. But this was a Breese to install and use. Tech support responded promptly. Great system
I would say that this application serves my expectations. For the price that I paid, I get everything I need for my installed surveillance cameras. I can access cameras from my phone. I can watch live videos and go back to playback. Perfectly working on wifi network and cellular networks. It does everything that I expected to get. Giving 5 starts.
I saw many bad reviews, after bought my cameras so when I downloaded the app I had the same issue, on the first time the I want to see from my phone said off line, I was confused because all cables were connected, but I tried something I replace the ethernet cable for another one ,after that ,problem resolved..I recomend try that.
Good app. There is a 7sec delay but not a big deal. APP actually has more useful features than the DVR/NVR. I’ve also connected to the cloud but I haven’t used the cloud since I’ve downloaded the app. Has camera controls if your camera can pan and zoom. Neat.
To be fair this app has been good to me and works well with my set up. I did however figure out I had to keep my NRV and router on a differen frequency, or it wouldn’t load up the image or connect due to interference.
